It’s been a while since the last update I’m sorry. This past week Kaylee has done good. She back to sleeping at night and during the week only taking naps on the days she has therapy it wears her out. This past week she has gotten me up out of bed by coming in and reaching for my hand and saying mama. She is also doing a lot more of what you say. She goes and gets Cortney when she’s told and goes to her room when she’s told and when she wants a bath she comes and gets you. She’ll get your arm and pull until you get up and then led you to the bathtub and try to climb in herself. Also this week she was watching Sponge bob (i know that’s not new) but while she was watching it Patrick said my good friend or something like that any way when he said the word friend Kaylee copied him and yelled out the word FRIEND. She is starting to talk more and more. (I hope by Nov. it will be easier for her and she’ll do it every time she needs to say something) Doctor update from Friday(6-26-09) Her very bad ear infection was all cleared up. Her doctor actually told her ok your good and I better not have to see you in here for a long, long while. We get a 2 week break from doctors until her surgery on July 10th. (I hope we don’t have to see the doctor before then). Her schedule for the rest of the summer is as follows: July 10th – surgery, July 14th – dentist, July 17th – post opp visit from surgery, July 27th – neurologist (possible), August 21st – MRI. Therapy are very Tuesday and Wednesday for 2 hours each day.
